It’s been a busy month with Valentine’s-themed gigs around every corner!
Guitarist Matt Harp and I performed at Wire Road Brewing for classy wine and cheese pairing event. I sang with the Brueggeman Gouge Jazz Band at the Library Center as part of its Sunday concert series. And I wrapped up the month at Hold Fast Brewing with members of the Missouri Jazz Orchestra (MOJO) Lite.
I definitely feel like I’m getting back in the “swing” of things and enjoying my time on the #417jazz scene. But one of my favorite moments from this past month has got to be performing Bye Bye Black Bird with the ever-talented bassist, Seth Darby.
I’d love to professionally record the full version someday, but here’s a clip for now!
