I’ll always remember 2022 as the year I got “back in the saddle” after a long hiatus from singing. Between having kids, working full time and trying to balance it all, I probably went five or so years without practicing my craft. I was feeling creatively starved!
Special thanks to the Brueggemann Gouge Jazz Band for inviting me to sing with their jazz quartet at Hold Fast Brewing on Tuesday nights. This invitation sparked my creative juices and helped me jump back into the Springfield music scene. Looking back, I ended up booking a dozen or so gigs over the course of 2022, which is exactly what my heart needed.
